Hi Colin,
So beautiful! Thank you for sharing your adventures in Japan with us. I am glad you are doing fine and met up with some cyclists in Japan….such a awesome experience for you. I didn’t know you were a photographer. You have so many great photos of Zach and everything else. Do you know if it would be possible to use your photos to make a memory book with Shutterfly? I did one of Kawika folks doing the graffiti wall at Palama. A photographer named Paula Ota was there taking photos, so I went to her website and was able to order pics from there. Would I be able to that with your photos? Please let me know if you think there is a way. Thanks Colin! Take Care.

Fantastic pics of the sunrise at Haleakala!! I’ve tried on 3 different occasions throughout the years, but all I’ve seen is orange tinted fog!! Not very lucky…even got up in the wee hours of the morning, drove for miles up the winding road in the freezing cold each time, bu….one of these days!! I haven’t given up yet…orange tinted fog, here I come…

Awesome photos!! Thanks for the “quick trip” around parts of Japan that you’ve been seeing during your first week there!! Looks like you’re eating some awesome foods!! Keep posting the pics!! Glad you’re having fun and enjoying the scenery in spite of having to work/study so hard…

Looks like there’s some really good looking bikes over there…bet you can’t wait to get your bike so that you can start riding all over instead of having to walk, walk, walk, huh??

Hey Colin!

Glad you made is safely! The day you left, my husband was watching the news & I overheard something about JAL experiencing turbulance where 2 people were injured. Told him you left on JAL…he said it was a flight from Japan to Hawaii…I was relieved!

I’m glad you saw snow fall! I’m going to wish for a light snowfall in Vegas when we go up in March…just enough to experience it just like you!

Bundle up & hope you brought up some vitamin C!

Long time no talk. First of all, you have a hella dope page with cool pictures. That is a super nice picture with your camera phone. What kind of phone is that? I’m always at the Starbucks by 1000 Bishop and I always see these guys riding around. I always wondered what they do where they could be riding around all day, but now I know. Anyways, props on having a sick webpage.

I’m from Matsuyama, Ehime, Japan. Thank you for your information about Zach. 4 years ago, he stayed with us two days in Ehime-Hawaii youth baseball program with Brede Kochi and Dane Fujinaka. He was very nice and I became friends with his mother. The news about his accident gave me a great shock and I wanted more information about him. I’m much moved with your heartful message and photos. Zach has really good friends and he will live in us forever. I’m anxious about his grieving family. Please take good care of them and give me more information.
