Veteran’s Day & Night Ride (53 photos)

was byfar the most epic ride I’ve been on in a while. Veteran’s Day couldn’t have been any better; riding around on a sunny day with a group of friends throughout Hawaii, you can’t possibly ask for more…

Some of the main attractions ridden to:
-Taryn Wright’s Remembrance Memorial Spot in Dillingham
-Chinatown/Downtown for lunch in the business district
-Pali Lookout
-State Capitol
-Waikiki Beach for the sunset
-Market City in Kaimuki for some ono kine grindz at Gina’s Korean BBQ

Memorable Moments:
-The introduction of Casey’s new “Mash” frame, Team Ebay special
-Leroy visiting us shortly on his lunch break and the group following him back to work in downtown
-Making Sau laugh until it hurt
-Climbing the brutal hills on Old Pali Road and Pali Highway
-Epic photoshoot at Pali lookout
-Sau saying hello and goodbye to the tourists
-Bombing Pali Highway back to downtown
-The cold water fountain at St. Andrew Prior Cathedral
-Realizing Ian’s similarities to Jesus
-Mashing through Waikiki
-Snapshots with the beach bum
-An epic sunset on Waikiki Beach with the group
-Aly ripping her pants after mashing through Kapahulu
-Realizing how much food Gina’s BBQ gives
-Finding out what “dubstep” is from Casey
-Riding home, drained of energy, from Kaimuki with the Leeward pack at 11:00PM, but to find out it was only 8:30PM
